The World Franchise Council just made it official. Starting in 2025, the second Wednesday of June is dedicated to celebrating franchising’s role in the global economy. Employment. Entrepreneurship. Opportunity. Proven systems that reduce risk and increase the odds of success for business owners worldwide.
I’ve been in this industry for over 35 years and I’ve watched franchising change lives — including my own.
This day is long overdue.
Franchising is one of the most powerful business models ever created. It takes a proven concept, packages it, and hands the keys to someone willing to work for it. That’s not a small thing. That’s generational wealth. That’s a career pivot. That’s someone’s dream made real.
Bottom line: If you’ve ever considered owning a business, franchising deserves a serious look. Today is a good day to start.
